The pouring of water ritual, also referred to as Aufguss, is a sensational experience. The pouring of water takes place six times per day in the large Kelo Aufguss sauna and is a must for every sauna enthusiast.

The pouring of water is performed by our sauna masters. During this ritual, the sauna master pours a large quantity of water with ethereal oils on the heat source. This releases water vapour that the sauna master distributes throughout the space by flapping and waving a towel. The humidity in the sauna rises and the sauna temperature is experienced as warmer and more intense.

Due to the boosted level of humidity and the intensive warming of the skin, the body starts to sweat even more and the skin’s blood circulation is optimised. A sensational experience for body and spirit!

The water-pouring ritual takes place each day at the following times: 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00, 20:00 and 21:30. You are invited to participate in the water pouring ritual free of charge (subject to availability).
